We did not even buy a pumpkin this year, LOL. But three years ago, we did get a pumpkin. After cutting out the top and realizing it was too small of a hole to reach in, DH cut a bigger hole. At that point, he realized that the top couldn't be placed on the pumpkin any more, it'd fall in :) hee hee.
Here is a layout on pumpkin carving that was published in Scrapbooks Etc October 2010 issue. This is my first and only publication with this delightful magazine. I feel so incredibly lucky to have this project selected. I haven't submitted anything to them since this because I just don't quite know how to go about doing it without specific calls from the magazine. But I will seize the carver and rejoice over this one and say "hurray!"

Yay for the pub and fun LO! Hah, funny story about your pumpkin! :) My hubs don't do the initial hole cut... that's my job. But he's willing to carve -- until he realized what my standards for a carved pumpkin were... so now both the cutting into and carving is my job. Sigh.
I remember seeing this published Jing-Jing!! I LOVE this layout! And cute, cute story behind it:) Miss you!
Fun layout! I LOVE IT to bits
